who we are
I’m a counselor in the state of Florida with a vast experience working with individuals, teens, and preteens who are facing challenges like trauma, anxiety, depression, and life changes. I’m always learning and staying up to date on the best ways to help my clients. My approach is flexible and focuses on how the mind and body work together, offering care that’s tailored to each person. What matters most to me is being real and approachable, creating a space where you can feel comfortable opening up and getting the support you need to move forward and feel better.
I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and guided by Internal Family Systems (IFS), both of which are powerful tools for healing and helping you understand yourself better. My background in crisis management means I’m comfortable supporting you through tough, emotional moments, and my trauma-informed approach ensures that you’ll be met with understanding and respect no matter what you’re going through. I also value cultural competence, so you can trust that the care I provide takes your unique experiences and background into account.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me curled up with a good book, journaling my thoughts, or enjoying a video game. I love game nights with family and friends, where we can laugh and unwind together. Yoga and jogging are my go to activities for clearing my mind and staying active. Family time is a priority for me, and I cherish the moments spent with loved ones, whether it’s relaxing at home or out enjoying new experiences together.
